# WQT Contents & Preparation

The  Water Quality Test is a comprehensive postal laboratory test for heating system water, providing a detailed analysis of the system and fill water samples.  For a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to use the  Water Quality Test, please refer to the guide below.

### Water Quality Test Contents

-   Freepost Envelope.
    
-   A bottle for heating system water_(labelled with a QR code and a unique kit reference “__DWT#########”_ _);_
    

### **Sample preparation**

-   Fill the bottle with water from the heating system.
    
-   Ensure it is securely sealed to avoid spillage during transit.
    
-   Place the sample bottle in its box.
    

### **Post Preparation**

-   Submit the test on the [Fernox App,](https://ijzcadbtb.gleap.help/en/articles/117-water-quality-test-guide#heading-5-step-1-start-a-new-test) by scanning the QR code on of the heating system water sample bottle;
    
-   Put the sample box inside the Freepost envelope included in the test kit.
    
-   Post your sample via a Post Office or any post box.
