# Issues with scanning the bottle QR Code

Scanning QR Codes in the Fernox App

Ensure good lighting and a clean kit reference QR code before attempting to scan.

Only Fernox test kits can be scanned with the app; kits from other manufacturers will not be recognized.

_Note: System Health Check (SHC) kits cannot be added or scanned in the app._
